I first started Qwik Kiwi Coaching in February 2000. In the early days it was called RAYZ independent fitness consultant. I used this name until November 2002 when I rebranded to Qwik Kiwi.
I developed the coaching business on the advice of a university lecturer of mine. I had been writing and preparing training plans for plenty of people over the previous 6-7 years, and one of my Sport Science lecturers encouraged me to start charging for my service. When I established my business I was working for my uncle who was self-employed and I appreciate the support and guidance he gave me on how to set up the structure of the business.
