Il be honest, I’m pretty lost for words this week and think writing about triathlon when the world is tackling the corona virus seems pretty meaningless.
Here in the UK pretty much any business, shop, event deemed non essential has closed until further notice. The shops, roads, and everything in between has pretty much come to a stand still this week. We are in scary times!
So what does this mean for training? Well I can’t swim as all gyms and leisure centres have shut. I can bike, but advised to do it on the turbo. I’m fine with that as I’ve done that all winter anyways. Currently I can run outside as long as I am running alone and stay two metres from the nearest person. I’m fine with that and will stick to the trails. So not all is lost. I will continue to train, I will continue to bike and run!
keep safe everyone and il keep you posted how I get on 🙂
