Spicy Peanut Butter Cookies
These cookies have a bit of zing. If you enjoy curry, they are just for you.

Ingredients
- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 tsps chili powder
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- pinch of kosher salt
- 18 large dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉(177℃). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine the peanut butter, brown sugar, egg, chili powder, baking soda, and salt. Process until combined and smooth.
- Scoop out balls (about 2 tablespoons each) and place on the baking sheet. Press with the tines of a fork. Bake for 10 minutes, or until lighlty browned around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and press a chocolate chip into the center of each cookie. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then remove to a rack to cool completely.
